SIGNS YOUR MACHINE COULD NEED A SERVICE
On this page, you can request a service call-out for a Nelson engineer to attend your site and carry out a full and detailed inspection of your machine, looking signs of future problems. This process will return your machine to the best possible condition and will reduce the risk of future breakdowns occurring unexpectedly.
There are several reasons that could prompt the need for a non-urgent service call. Some of these include:
A FEW QUICK FAQ’s
What is the cost of a non-urgent service call?
Our standard call-out rate is £195+VAT.
What does the call-out include?
The call-out fee (if applicable) covers the attendance of one of our engineers at your site and up to 1 hour of labour.
Will there be any additional charges?
Additional charges would only apply where any repair or restoration work becomes necessary and would depend on the time and any parts required. We would also charge in the event that the machine needs to be descaled. However, no chargeable work would ever proceed without clear agreement by the customer.
What is a user related fault?
A user-related fault is where a machine has been misused, not maintained adequately or where wilful damage has occurred. Examples are finding evidence that debris such as broken glass or lemon slices have been fed into the machines drain system or where the inside of the machine has been allowed to become heavily scaled up over time.
How do I pay for the call?
You can pay for the call online at the time of placing. Otherwise you can pay the Nelson engineer on completion of the visit.
How soon will an engineer attend?
With a non-urgent call, where the machine remains operational, we will aim to attend within “a few” days. If we are already servicing or installing in your area, it is possible that we could attend the very next day, but you wouldn’t need to wait for more than a working week.
Can I purchase a new warranty if mine has expired?
Yes – we offer a range of service contracts with additional benefits. Service contracts have many advantages from
PAYING FOR PEACE OF MIND
A planned, preventative maintenance (PPM) contract is the best solution for keeping your machine in the best possible health while hugely reducing the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns. Most sudden breakdowns occur because of a lack of thorough maintenance over time, so regular health checks of your machine address early symptoms of problems, before they cause unexpected downtime.
