NELSON LAUNCHES NEW ‘GLASS DRYER’ – ENSURING COOL, DRY GLASSES IN MINUTES

We’ve added the Glass Dry to our range of commercial dish and glasswashing accessories. The Glass Dry, produced by the manufacturers of the Airack glass dryer, provides an innovative solution to a problem faced by almost every business serving alcoholic drinks – having to use hot, wet glasses straight from the glasswasher, which negatively impacts drink presentation.

It usually takes around 40 minutes for glasses taken straight from a glasswasher to dry. The Glass Dry air rack reduces drying time to just four minutes and is perfect for all types of beer glasses, champagne flutes, wine glasses and cocktail glasses.

The Glass Dry works by drawing air in via its base and circulating it around the glasses. The cooling action is achieved by the velocity of air passing over the glasses, reducing the glass temperature to below ambient so they can be used immediately.

The Glass Dry air rack comes in three sizes to accommodate glasswasher baskets that are 400mm x 400mm, 450mm x 450mm and 500mm x 500mm, although the footprints are slightly larger. The Glass Dry simply needs to be plugged in and you’re ready to go.

The drying time on the Glass Dry can be adjusted for different glass sizes. Taller continental glasses take longer to dry than standard pint glasses, so simply select the desired time setting.

The Glass Dry air rack can be positioned on any flat surface close to a standard 3-pin socket.
